I’m rating little J.

Since nothing extremely interesting happened today that’s worth blogging about, I decided to make my post today about the inspirational actress/model Taylor Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl. If any of you lovely readers watch the show, you will know that lately, our dear Taylor has been changing her look like we change our underwear. One day there’s no makeup, then the next day there’s heavy eyeliner, and so and so forth. Don’t get me wrong- no matter what she does that girl is always gorgeous (I am comfortable enough with being straight that I don’t mind pointing out the attractiveness of another girl)- but for blogging sake, I decided to gather a few pictures of this fifteen year old supergirl and rate the look she’s going for on a scale of one to ten.

TEN. I love Taylor with heavy eyeliner, and this outfit is absolutely divine, down to the necklace she’s wearing. It’s very chic.

T. Momsen

SIX. I like the jacket, but the stockings are sort of funky and I dislike her hair color. It looks too yellow to me, and just… unattractive.

NINE. I love everything about this look! The jeans are amazing and match the boots so well, and shirt is just a brilliant combination of rocker/sexy! I just think she could have used some bracelets or something.

EIGHT POINT FIVE. Drool. I love the dress so much… it’s so great… but I think it would have looked better with a little less makeup. Perhaps if she used a little less eyeliner? I just think it would have made the look a bit softer.

Jenny? Is That You?

NINE. This outfit is HOT and definitely something I would wear, but will thicker eyeliner and maybe painted nails?

FIVE. Not really my style, but… it looks alright on her.

I’m jealous that she can wear so many different types of styles and rock it all, and I would definitely talk more about her insane skillz in the fashion department (She picks out her own outfits- no stylist!), but I’m really tired and want to go to bed. I’m hoping that if I take enough medicine and get an outrageous amount of sleep, my illness will magically go away, my immune system will stop being uncooperative, the economy will fix itself, chocolate will not make you gain weight, and all will be right with the world.

…Perhaps I’m a bit delusional, but hey, we need GOALS to survive in this world, and HOPES, and DREAMS, and OPTOMISM.

My name is Rosalie Bass, and I am one of those rare sixteen year old juniors in the upper United States that sees the world for what it is- a giant pit full of lies, scandals, gossip, and plotting. This applies to everyone regardless of social class; lower, middle, or upper, we are all trying to claw our way to the mountain top of success whether we like it or not, no matter the cost. For some, success means a home to sleep in, food to eat, temperature control in the winter; others, it means ten new pairs of Jimmy Chu shoes and a Chanel product or five to boot. All different definitions, all resulting in the same bloodthirsty battle to the finish.

So what am I in all of this? The observer, of course. Obnoxious on occasion and conceited on most, I promise to give you, my beloved reader, the brutally honest story of what life is really like when you look at it through an icy perspective. This may involve juicy gossip, my take on current events, or even real life stories about yours truly. Whatever it may turn out to be, I give you my word that it will be a wild ride.

'Tis the season! As the first marking period of the school year comes to a close, the drama of junior year reaches its highest point yet. Could it be the stress of academics that is causing all the juicy stories, or maybe, just maybe, are people starting to embrace their inner bitch?

Let's find out.

By far the sluttiest person that we know, our darling L has recently started going out with a new guy who happens to be my ex boyfriend. They have only been going for about two weeks, and already my social circle is abuzz with the glorious highlights of her sex life. I won't go too into the repulsive details, but let me say one thing: nine and a half fingers.

The infamous, religious little vegetarian known as O is surprisingly not so innocent anymore. Having dumped her charity case boyfriend several months ago, she is now with an ROTC future marine, and they are doing anything BUT worshipping when alone together. I have to say, I'm quite surprised - I figured someone as conservative as her would hold out a little longer. Perhaps when it comes to teenage lust, God isn't so vital to our lives anymore?

B, the manwhore of my high school, was nominated into the Homecoming Court a few weeks ago, but sadly did not win the crown. I don't think he's too upset, though - rumor has it that he's hooked up with NUMEROUS girls since then. That guy is never satisfied.

And then there's the girl who always seems to be one of the prominant figures in the drama - our very own R. The lovable girl with the split personalities, something seems to have been up with her lately - or down with her, if you know what I mean. Her love life has been in shambles, filled with constant rejection on both sides and the occasional poor decision. Combined with the fights she's been starting lately, I'd say that we have quite the problem child on our hands.

Alas, though, it is only my opinion.
